Physical Therapist
Lindsay is originally from Clare, Michigan. She recently moved to the area and is now a licensed physical therapist in North Carolina. Lindsay received her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Michigan Tech University where she also participated in varsity athletics for four years. Being heavily involved in sports and fitness throughout her life is what inspired her to pursue a career in physical therapy. She enjoys treating a wide variety of orthopedic conditions but is especially interested in injury prevention for athletes. Additionally, in her clinical rotations, she was able to gain experience in the treatment of vestibular disorders and post-concussion rehabilitation. Lindsay enjoys helping people return to the activities they love and restore their function. In the future, she would like to expand her training in manual therapy techniques and the use of functional movement assessments for injury prevention.
Lindsay values the importance of volunteering. In her graduate program, she had the opportunity to assist in organizing pro bono exercise classes for individuals with Parkinson’s disease. She looks forward to being involved in community outreach in the Jacksonville area as well. In her free time, Lindsay enjoys playing/watching sports, hiking, camping, running, weight lifting, going to the beach and spending time with her husband
